Just remember that when ordering. The phones didn't work in 2 of the villas. Next to the closet was the bathroom. At the stingray pond, guests were each given a half fish and told to put their hand holding the fish into the water so the sting rays could grab the fish. The hotel is impressive, the grounds are beautiful, kids loved the water slides, I loved the beach and the aquarium, we had amazing view from the room. Our Favorite Partner Cards. We could see The Leap of Faith Slide to our left, all the pools, aquariums, ocean, even our favorite pool bar The Coral to our right. I highly recommend a balcony on this this side because every morning I had coffee on the balcony listening to the water and and birds And every night after our day out we sat on our balcony and we could see the aquariums with with fish below all light up.

Poplar Bluff, Missouri 73 contributions 24 helpful votes. Not My Cup of Tea. We joined some friends on this trip. They had planned and booked it, and since we had never visited The Bahamas, we decided to join them. We really liked The Bahamas, and will definitely visit again, but never will we stay at the Atlantis again. This place is absolute chaos - crowded hallways and walkways, and pools filled with throngs of cruise line guests who have purchased a day pass to the Atlantis.

Everywhere you walk, you feel as if you are walking through the a sports arena and the game just ended. There are long lines to eat everywhere- but especially at the poolside concession areas. And too few of them for the amount of people they serve daily. Our first night, we landed about 5 and were longing to just grab a bite, have a cocktail and relax overlooking the beautiful water.

There is not a singe restaurant that has this option on the property! When you are at the pool any pool you cannot even see the water or feel a breeze. All of the pool areas have large hedges of plantings that block the area from the beach. It's really weird. And, did I mention crowded?? Hard to get waited on by servers, etc. I read on the forum that many people pack collapsible coolers and bring their own food to the pool.

Sorry, but that is not my idea of what you do at a resort - that is camping. On this huge property, there are no seating areas sprinkled throughout where you can stop and rest as you trek across the gigantic property, wait for the rest of your family to catch up, etc.. Every other resort we have visited, there are always seating areas for guests to gather, etc.

The bathroom was particularly impressive with a large soaking tub strategically positioned for an ocean view. The toiletries were their own ShuiQui spa and there was a good selection including things like shaving and dentals kits. I quite liked the light fragrance and they seemed like decent quality. There was also a large shower with a rain head and a good size shelf for your toiletries.

There was only a single sink but the vanity unit was large around it which I like to be able to store my own toiletries — there would be plenty of room for two people. I found the lounge a little underwhelming but given the price of drinks in Dubai and the other benefits you get, it is probably worth the extra money. The afternoon tea had all the usual items such as sandwiches, scones, cakes and biscuits as well as fresh fruit and it would be more than enough as a substitute for lunch.

The evening was a different matter.

Holiday Rambler Atlantis RVs Reviews

When I arrived it was absolutely heaving and I had to queue for around 10 minutes to get in which was a first. In the end, the only choice was to sit outside or wait for longer. I chose outside which was still around 30c and a bit warm rather than wait since I had a dinner reservation. The service was pretty attentive though and they came round with a second glass at last orders since I still had a lot left in my glass. The food was a little random but there was plenty of choice with salad, sushi, hot items, canapes and desserts or fresh fruit. Obviously, the main attraction was the waterpark.

Having the ocean themed rides such as the water slide that goes through an aquarium shark in a sealed see-through tube! Waterslide through the aquarium. There are also plenty of other water-themed activities such as diving which includes helmet diving for novices and the Lost Chambers Aquarium. There is a beach including a private area for Imperial Club guests. The beach had soft white sand but was not particularly scenic.

There is also a pool which was large but a bit average I thought but then you do have a whole waterpark at your disposal. As well as water pursuits there is a spa which has a wide range of treatments from premium brands such as Aromatherapy Associates, Shisheido and ESPA as well as a hair salon and Medi Spa.

There is also a fitness centre that offers a well-equipped gym plus unusual classes such as the Hatha yoga by the Lost Chambers Aquarium. Bikes are available to cycle around the resort too.

There are a huge number of restaurants to choose from at Atlantis from very casual to fine dining. I was on a half board package but although this includes most of the restaurants you only get a small credit towards your meal in some of the more expensive restaurants.
